Ph.D from HEC recognized Institution in the relevant field  plus 15 (fifteen) years teaching/research experience  in HEC recognized University or a post graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization,   plus  15 (fifteen)  Research Publications (with at least five publications in last five years) in Internationally abstracted Journals  recognized by the HEC OR  10 (ten) years post Ph.D teaching/research experience in a  recognized University or post graduate Institution  or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization plus  15 (fifteen) Research Publications (with at least five publications in last five years) in Internationally abstracted Journals  recognized by the HEC.
Professor under TTS with Salary Package @ Rs.180,000/- p.m. in Agri. Ph.D from HEC recognized Institution in the relevant field with either 11 (eleven) years Post. Ph.D experience OR minimum of 7 (seven) years of Post Ph.D. experience with at least 12 (twelve) years of experience prior to the Ph.D. in teaching / research in a recognized university or a post graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization. In addition 15 (fifteen) research publications (with at least five publications in the past five years) in internationally abstracted journals, recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the Higher Education Commission(HEC).As a general rule, the length of service in the rank of Associate Professor before being considered for appointment to full Professor is 5 (five) years. Recommendations for appointment in less time shall have to be carefully weighed and justified by the competent forum.
Associate Professor (BS-20) Regular: Two posts each in the discipline of Agri. Economics and Plant Pathology and one post each in the discipline of Agronomy, Horticulture, Water Management, Animal Breeding & Genetics, Poultry Science, Stat, Computer Science and Institute of Development Studies (with specialization in  Economics or Agri. Economics)
Ph.D in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/ Institution plus 10 (ten) years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National OR International Organization, plus 10 (Ten) Research Publications (with at least four publications in last five years) in Internationally abstracted Journals recognized by the HEC.  OR  5 (five) years post Ph.D teaching/ research experience in HEC recognized University or a post graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization  plus 10 (ten) Research Publications (with at least four publications in last five years) in Internationally abstracted Journals  recognized by the HEC
Associate Professor under TTS with salary package @ Rs.120,000/- p.m. in Agri. Assistant Professor (BS-19), Regular:  Three posts in the discipline of Weed Science; two posts each in the discipline of Agri. Economics, Agri. Chemistry, Food Science & Technology and one post each in the discipline of Horticulture, Entomology, Plant Protection, , Rural Sociology, Human Nutrition, and Livestock Management,
Master’s degree (foreign) OR M.Phil (Pakistan) OR equivalent degree awarded after 18 (eighteen)  years of education as determined by the HEC  in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/ Institution, with 4 (four) years teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a post--graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
Assistant Professor (BS-19), Regular. Three posts   (Department of Animal Health) One each in Veterinary Pathology, Veterinary Anatomy and Animal Reproduction.
Master’s degree (foreign) OR M.Phil (Pakistan) or equivalent degree awarded after 18 (eighteen) years of education as determined by the HEC  in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/ Institution, with 4 (four) years teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a post--graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. The candidate must possess DVM degree and registered with PVMC.
Asstt. Professor under TTS with salary package @ Rs.80,000/- per month in Agri. Mechanization, Agronomy, Bio-Technology & Genetic Engineering, Horticulture, Plant Breeding & Genetics, Soil & Environmental Sciences, Water Management, , Entomology, Plant Pathology, Plant Protection, Weed Science, Agri. Chemistry, Food Science & Technology, Human Nutrition, Animal Nutrition, Livestock Management, Poultry Science, Agri. Economics, Agri. Extension Education & Communication, Computer Science, English, Maths, Stats,  Rural Sociology, Management Sciences and Veterinary Sciences (veterinary microbiology, veterinary pathology, veterinary parasitology, veterinary pharmacology, veterinary anatomy, veterinary medicine, veterinary surgery, animal reproduction)
Ph.D degree from HEC recognized institution with excellent  communication and presentation skills.
Lecturer (BS-18) Regular. Two posts each in the discipline of Food Science & Technology, Rural Sociology, Poultry Science,  and English and one post each in the discipline of Plant Breeding & Genetics, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Plant Protection, Human Nutrition, Islamic Studies, Pak Studies, Agricultural Chemistry  Organic Chemistry and Rural Development and

(i)Master’s Degree (First Class) in the relevant field with no 3rdDivision in the Academic Career from HEC recognized University/ Institution.

(ii) For the Post of Lecturer in  English 2nd Division candidates are also eligible.

Lecturer (BS-18) Regular. Eleven posts  (Department of Animal Health)

3 posts in Veterinary Pharmacology/Veterinary Physiology, 3 posts in Veterinary Surgery and Veterinary Medicine, 2 posts in Veterinary Microbiology, one post in Veterinary Pathology, one post in Animal Reproduction and one post in Veterinary Anatomy/Veterinary Histology.
Master’s Degree (First Class) in the relevant field after DVM with no 3rdDivision in the Academic Career from HEC recognized University/ Institution. The candidate should be registered member of PVMC.
Assistant Director Teaching (Quality Enhancement Cell) BS-18
Master’s Degree (First Class) in Management Sciences with no 3rdDivision in the Academic Career from HEC recognized University/ Institution.
Resident Assistant Warden (BS-17)
First Class Master degree; or Second Class Master’s degree with four years experience of hostel management/ Students’ affairs in a University or post graduate educational institution.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  1. The prescribed Application Forms are obtainable from Meeting Section of the University on payment of Rs.100/- duly accompanied by a paid Receipt for Rs.500/- deposited into University Account in the name of Director Finance, NWFP Agri. University, Peshawar.
  2. As per HEC policy, no Ph.D. Degree holders shall be considered for appointment as Assistant Professor in graded position, therefore, they should apply for the post of Assistant Professor only on TTS.
  3. Candidates already in service, should route their applications through proper channel.
  4. Application with attested copies of all degrees, diplomas, Medals/ Distinction Certificates and year-wise (wherever applicable) detailed marks certificates should reach the undersigned on or before 13-06-2009.
  5. Last date for overseas applicants shall be 20-06-2009.
  6. Incomplete applications as well as those received after due date, shall not be entertained.
  7. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending test/interview
