Ph.D in the relevant field from HEC recognized University Institution plus 10 (ten) years Teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization, plus 10 (ten) research Publications (with at least 4 (Four) Publications in the last 5 years) in Internationally abstracted Journals recognize by the HEC,
OR
5(Five) years post Ph.D teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization, plus 10 research Publications (with at least 4 (Four) Publications in the last 5 years) in internationally abstracted Journals recognize by the HEC. |

Assistant Professors under Tenure Track System (TTS),
One each in the discipline of Agronomy, Horticulture, Soil & Environmental Science, Agri. Economics, Plant Protection, Rural Sociology and Rural Development. |

One each in the discipline of Mathematics, Statistics, English, Pakistan Studies, Plant Breeding & Genetics, Human Nutrition, Rural Sociology and Rural Development. |
i. Master's Degree (First Class) in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd Division in the academic career.
ii. For the Post of Lecturer in English, candidates with 2nd Division are also eligible.

Assistant Professors BS-19 on Contractual Basis
One each in the discipline Management / HRM, Marketing, Finance, Data Base, Net Working and Web Development |
Ph.D in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution
OR
Master degree in the relevant field from HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or Professional experience in the relevant field in National or International Organization with 04 years teaching / research experience in recognized University / College or 04 years professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. |

Lecturers on Contractual Basis
One in the discipline of Marketing. |
i. Master Degree (First Class) in the relevant field with no 3rd Division in the academic career from HEC recognized University/ Institution. The conditions of 3rd Division shall not be applicable provided that the candidate holds higher degree Viz M. Phil / Ph.D or equivalent Degree, but with only one 3rd Division in the entire academic career.
ii. For the Post of Lecturer in English, candidates with 2nd Division are also eligible. |

Assistant Planning & Development Officer (BS-17) One Post on regular basis |
First Class MA (Economics)/ Agri. Economics / MBA OR 2nd Class MA (Economics) / Agri Economics / MBA and four years experience in the relevant field in a University or a Govt. Department or in an autonomous organization. |
Instructions
- The prescribed application forms are obtainable from Meeting Section of the University on production of bank receipt or Demand Draft for Rs.1200/-. The Application form could also be down loaded from the University website (www.aup.edu.pk) and bank receipt or Demand Draft must accompany the application.
- Candidates already in service, should route their applications through proper channel.
- Applications with attested copies of all degrees, diplomas, medals/ distinction certificates and year-wise detailed marks certificates, experience certificate should reach the undersigned on or before 15.01.2012.The last date is 31.01.2012 for those who apply from abroad.
- Incomplete applications or received after closing date will not be entertained.
- Separate application form must be submitted for each post.
- No TA/DA shall be paid for attending test/interview.
- Only short listed candidates will be called for interview.
- University reserves the right, not to fill any or all post(s).
