The campus is characterized by an elegant building, spacious green lawns, ornamental plants, colorful flowers and a well looked-after research farm with variety of crops and fruit trees. These features of the campus are not only a source of pride for the University staff and students, but also attract a large number of visitors from the surrounding areas. The accommodation on campus provides ample opportunities for graduates to utilize the library and computer labs 24 hours a day; seven days a week.
The main buildings on the campus houses central administration, faculty offices, classrooms, laboratories, library, auditorium and storage facilities. The golden colored exquisite chandeliers in the corridors adds to the beauty of the campus. The vast and modern auditorium has a capacity of about 550 seats for holding seminars, lectures, conferences and convocations.
Near the eastern boundary of the campus lie two student hostels, each designed to accommodate approximately 200 students.
Six new hostels have also been constructed making two uniform units on the northern and western sides. Hostel for female students is located in the newly constructed Professor’s Colony across the riverbed.
The University has a small dispensary with a qualified doctor on the campus. In addition to a Utility Store, the University is served by a cafeteria offering foods at reasonable rates. A branch of Habib Bank Ltd is located on the campus serving the students and staff. Directorate of Works takes care of problems related to electricity, gas, water or repair work.
