About Chairman:
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Jamal Khan
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Jamal Khan was inducted as a lecturer in September 1982. Presently he is working as chairman, Department of Water Management. He is supervising 5 PhD and 5 M.Sc students.Developed and revise the curriculum of B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D for the Department of Water Management. Produced 30 M.Phil students and has published more than 68 research paper in National and International Journals. Successfully completed research projects on Deep tillage, Waterlogging and Salinity, Improvement of Irrigation System, Rod-Kohi Irrigation System, Assessment of Economic life of Small Dams. Worked as a coordinator for Livelihood Project with IC from 2001 to 2004 and presently also helping IC in development of water resources in District Karak, Haripur and DIKhan. Besides that he also working as Director Planning and Development. Obtained fundings for construction Academic Block, Boys & Girls Hostle, Sport Complex and Water Resource Management Project. Developed vision 2020 for the Agricultural University, Peshawar.
