| About Dean
Prof. Dr. Mian Inayatullah
Professor Dr. Mian Inayatullah is Professor of the Department of Entomology. He remained a student of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peshawar and received his B.Sc and M.Sc (Hons.) degree in 1977 and 1982 respectively. He was appointed as Lecturer in the Department of Entomology in September, 1985. He received his PhD degree from University of Wyoming USA in 1992. He was appointed as Assistant Professor in 1995, Associate Professor in 1998 and Full Professor in 2003. Dr. Mian Inayatullah served as Chairman of the Department of Entomology from Jan. 2004 to Dec. 2007. He was appointed as Dean, Faculty of Crop Protection Sciences on Feb. 28, 2012. He has been serving the University for about 27 years. |

- Some Preliminary studies on Braconidae of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
- Identification and field evaluation of biocontrol agents of the Family Braconidae (Hymenoptera) against important crop pests in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
- Aphid parasitoids of the subfamily Aphidiinae (Hymenoptera) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
- Biological Control of Maize Stemborer using Trichogramma.
- Honey bees in Himalayas: Promoting Partnership with Rural Developmental Organizations in the Region.
- Integrated Management of Tomato Fruit worm (Helicoverpa armigera) using Chrysoperla carnea and Trichogramma.
- Improving livelihoods through knowledge Partnerships and value chains of bee products and services in the Himalayas.

- USAID- TIPAN sponsored project entitled Systematic Studies of genus Vipio Literielle (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) of the Nearctic and Neotropical Regions (project completed in 1992, (cost 3500USD)
- I was awarded a university gold medal for obtaining first class first position in B.Sc.(H) Agric.
- Certificate of Recognition in Research co-operation from Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.
