| About Faculty: |
The Faculty of Rural Social Sciences has the following degree awarding departments/institutes:
1. Department of Agricultural Economics
2. Department of Agricultural Extension Education and Communication
3. Department of Rural Sociology
4. Department of Maths/Statistics/Computer Science
5. Institute of Development Studies (IDS)
6. Institute of Business and Management Sciences (IBMS)
In addition, this Faculty has the following three support departments which cater the need of all the students of the Agriculture
7. Department of English
8. Department of Islamiyat/Pakistan Studies
In all these Departments the University intends to start degree level programs from the fall semester 2011.
The number of Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Lecturers in the Faculty of Rural Social Sciences is 15, 08, 14 and 12 respectively.
