Sports at AUP

The objective of all AUP sports programs is to encourage students to form the habit of taking regular exercise, to cultivate health and discipline in mind and body, and to instill in students a wholesome sense of sportsmanship and citizenship. The university administration has stressed the role of sports programs. Careful consideration has been given to the planning and design of sports facilities and equipment, the physical education curriculum, and extracurricular sports activities.

A wide range of sports facilities is available in the university, including Cricket, Hockey, Football, Volleyball, Basketball and Badminton. Students will be encouraged to participate in sports of their choice.
