In view of the high demand for business and management professionals in the province, The University of Agriculture, Peshawar established IBMS in 1998, with the key objectives to provide quality education in the field of Business Management, Computer Sciences and Information Technology. Initially, the Institute started with its enrollment of 292 Students. However, currently students enrollments stands at more than 4000. This reflects its growing popularity amongst the masses due to provision of congenial learning atmosphere to students and availability of highly qualified teaching staff. Currently, the institute is offering following degree programs: BBA (Hons), BS(CS), BS(IT), MS(CS), MS(IT), MS(MS), MBA 1.5, MBA 3.5.
