- Joint winner of ‘The 1998 Science into Practice Award’ for work on the development of spectral filters for greenhouse cladding and plant growth regulation. This prestigious scientific award was given by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, UK for an innovation, which has the potential to create wealth, whilst minimizing the environmental impact of agricultural production
