4. Research and postgraduate supervision in Food Science and Technology, with emphasis on postharvest technology, food preservation and product development.

Professional Responsibilities

1. Teaching and developing undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD-level courses in Food Science and Technology and related areas.
2. Supervising and mentoring MSc(H) and PhD students and leading interdisciplinary research activities.
3. Serving as Additional Director, ORIC, contributing to research strategy, academic-industry partnerships, research capacity building and technology commercialization.
4. Leading funded research projects and supporting institutional research, innovation, quality enhancement and technology transfer activities.
